The 'KAKADU COLLECTIONS by Carolyn Lord' clothing range was first established in the 1990s when living in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. My recently departed mother-in-law 'Anne Lord' was inspirational in teaching me how to sew. Bright and colourful has always been my passion, and now being able to source local Australian artist designer fabric in wildlife and botanical prints just enhances my range of unique pieces that I can create for others to enjoy.
KAKADU COLLECTIONS
now incorporates
"Dyed by KAKADU COLLECTIONS" &
"KAKADAKS by KAKADU COLLECTIONS"
is designed and created from unique home-dyed fabrics and home-dyed items made from new and recycled products. Each piece is unique in pattern with the combination of solid dyed colour with white tie-dye. The product range includes rompers, bodysuits, t-shirts, singlets, bibs and pants.
is made from home-dyed fabrics and prints from various Australian artists. Fabrics include linen cotton blends in fashionable colours, florals, Australian wildlife and botanical themes, and novelty and character prints. The product range includes bibs, headbands, pants and dresses.
